Who are "The Children of the Rainbow"?
Have you ever heard of Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow Children? Are you perhaps an Indigo child yourself? Who exactly are these Rainbow and Crystal children? And how do I know if I am one of these special children myself? Or if I have a child who might be a Rainbow child?
These children are highly intuitive. They usually have a special talent, whether it is in the artistic, scientific or spiritual, healing field and they are very sensitive to the influences of their environment.
All these children need a lot of love, understanding and support. Unfortunately they often get the opposite. Many children refuse to adapt to the system; they rebel and are diagnosed with ADHD because of their behavior. Most of the time, the school system does not fit them. These children are highly intelligent and often get bored in school. Or they can not understand why they have to learn certain things. It simply makes no sense. So they begin to lose themselves in daydreams.
Because of their either rebellious or very conservative maverick nature, because of their intuitive, psychic abilities and their refusal to adapt to the system, many of these children are often being ridiculed or shut down with drugs such as Ritalin. They then cease to use their talents and adapt to the system. There is a recent study that just in the United States alone there are about 1 million children on pharmaceuticals that don’t need to be.
All these children have but one common task: to initiate a new era. An era that is based on mutual respect, love and understanding, peace and honesty. And not only respect and love for other people, but also for nature and the environment. As parents and teachers, we have the responsibility to nurture the special skills of these children and to support and protect them. If we know who these children are and how we can educate them in a nurturing way, then a lot can shift to a more positive way of life in this world.

H.O.P.E.—Helping Orphans by Providing Empowerment—supports orphans and impoverished families in Africa through an economic upliftment project which provides employment to women living in abject poverty in the shanty towns of South Africa. Women with no source of income and no skills are taught the ancient African skill of making beaded jewelry. This jewelry is being sold through HOPE.
Our mission, our documentary
Avalon Healing has teamed up with the HOPE Beads Foundation and Songlines Entertainment to create a documentary webseries about Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children in order to increase awareness and show how to develop the talents of these children instead of shutting them down.
We will show interviews with the children as well as parents and teachers and people who specialize in teaching Rainbow and Indigo children.
The goal is to release one episode a month.
