Types of Information We Might Collect
PII -Personally Identifiable Information
PII, or personally identifiable information, is used to contact you about events and news exclusive to Avalon Healing. When you create an account, place an order, schedule a session, fill in an online form, subscribe or request information on our products or services, we request and collect pertinent and necessary information such as your contact and/or financial information. This information is used only to process and send orders, and to send you information about Avalon Healing opportunities. We do not store credit card details. All of this data is maintained in private files on our secure web servers and our internal systems. This information is never shared with third parties in a manner that personally identifies you. Personally identifiable information may include:
– name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, username, password
– credit/debit card numbers and other billing details such as cardholder transaction data, card numbers, expiration dates, billing addresses, CVV codes
NPII –Non-personally Identifiable Information
NPII, or non-personally identifiable information, is anonymous data such as web pages you have visited, date and time of page views, domain type, location information associated with your IP address and your interactions to an online ad delivered by us or our ad technology partners who collect this data using such mechanisms as cookies and web beacons.
We may connect information that is automatically gathered with information we already have about you to provide you with a personalized experience regardless of how you interact with us (online, live chat, telephone, etc.). This information may also be used for internal reporting and analysis purposes.
How Your Information Serves You
When you join us at Avalon Healing you become part of our Akashic community. We respect and honor your privacy and will not sell or lend your contact information to other companies for sales or marketing purposes. Your information is used at Avalon Healing internally to:
– fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments and returns/exchanges
– respond to requests for information about products and services
– connect with you via customer service, chat platforms and social media
– deliver emails, notifications, receipts, updates and subscriptions
– improve the usability and efficiency of the Avalon Healing website
– prevent fraudulent transactions and monitor any unauthorized dealings
– add your information to our databases so we can contact you for future outreach for Avalon Healing events and opportunities that might be of interest to you
Why, When and Where We Might Share Your Information
All PII (personal identifiable information) is confidentially maintained by Avalon Healing, however in certain instances we must provide this information to third parties for efficiency purposes in providing our services to you, such as billing and delivery. These entrusted vendors and service providers are contractually required to maintain confidentiality for the information received from us and may not use it for any other purpose than to carry out the services they perform on our behalf.
We provide you with direct access to social media third parties such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube, which may allow them to collect information about your IP address and your online activities. Your interactions with these sites are regulated by the privacy policies of these companies. This is outside of Avalon Healing administration and we do not share any PII (email address, billing information, passwords, etc.) with social media platforms.
Avalon Healing employs the use of third party analytics services to help us better understand and improve your experience while visiting the Avalon Healing website. These parties place cookies on your computer, which collect information regarding how you landed on our site, how you navigate around it and what you purchase. We do not allow these third party providers to collect any PII (email address, billing information, passwords, etc.) and are not allowed to share your information with anyone else.
Safeguarding Your Information
The Avalon Healing website and all user data are protected by a multi-layer, firewall-based security system. When you place an order, or schedule a session your personal information, including credit card numbers and passwords, is stored in an encrypted format at all times. All transactions are transmitted over secure internet connections that use the essential safety measure functions of mutual authentication, data encryption and data integrity used by online vendors to ensure a safe and trusted experience.
If you receive an email that looks like it is from Avalon Healing and it is asking you for personal information please do not reply. We will never ask for your credit card information, username, password or any other personal information over email.
We will retain your information as long as you have an active Avalon Healing account or as needed to provide you with any Avalon Healing services you requested. We must maintain your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and agreements. You have the right to request a copy of your personal information record we have on file and to have any inaccuracies corrected.

As a company that markets its site, content, products and/or services online we do not specifically target our marketing to the EU or conduct business in or to the EU in any meaningful way.
