What is Reiki?
The name Reiki is comprised of the words "Rei" (=universal soul or spirit) und "Ki" (=life energy).
During a Reiki session the practitioner channels the universal life energy through his/ her hands into the body of the client thus enabling the client to experience a healing on the emotional, soul, mental and spiritual level and resolving blocks which might prevent the body and mind from healing itself.
What is the Raindrop Technique?
The Raindrop Technique was developed by Dr. D. Gary Young based on his research with essential oils and information and techniques he learned from an elder among the Lakota Indians.
Raindrop Technique is based on information and studies that have shown that many types of scoliosis and kyphosis and other spinal misalignments are caused by viruses that lie dormant along the spine. These pathogens cause inflammation in the spine and by that contort the spinal alignment.
During a Raindrop Technique Session a variety of pure essential oils are being dropped from a height of about 6 inches above the back and massaged gently into the muscles along the spine. The entire process takes about 45 minutes to complete, but the oils will continue to work in the body for one week following the treatment.
Using oils that have been proven to have anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties is the key, thus fighting viruses and bacteria that have settled down in areas in and around the spine.
Amazing results have been achieved with clients who had sciatica, scoliosis and chronic back pains.
Essential oils have the ability to penetrate the skin and pass into bodily tissues quickly. Many oils used in the Raindrop Technique have antimicrobial properties and have been highly beneficial in fighting infections.
Raindrop Technique can be costumized to address different health issues other than back problems. Digestive and hormonal problems, liver insufficiencies, lung infections, pains in joints and bones and circulatory issues are just a few. and can be dealt with by subsidizing standard Raindrop Technique oils with other oils that are specifically targeted for that particular body system.
